Jay Mankita of Playful Engineers presents: Artful Mechanisms - a hands-on, creative engineering workshop in which imagination meets the marvels of mechanical movement. We’ll construct our own mechanisms, not just as tools but as expressive art forms - creating characters, telling tales, or accomplishing tasks. Through these simple kinetic creations, we’ll explore and discover the interplay of form and function. Come and build a simple mechanical linkage, or delve into the complexities of crank-driven automata, and take home what you build. 

This program is best suited for ages 5-12 and their guardians.
