Anyone can learn to draw well. This 4 session workshop for ages 13+ includes time-tested drawing exercises, experimenting with several types of media and, most important, getting motivated to make practicing five minutes a day at home a part of ones routine; it's the accumulation of 'pencil miles' that helps us make the most rapid progress. Come join the fun and improve your drawing!

The instructor taught at the Brookside Gardens School of Botanical Art & Illustration in Wheaton, MD.

The library will have supplies on hand. If you wish to bring your own:

1. Plain white paper such as printer paper or a sketchbook measuring at least 8.5” x 11”. Preferably recycled paper such as Canson or Strathmore brands.

2. 2B pencil with eraser.
