Traveling Tech Help at Washington Meadows

As part of our outreach services, the Topsfield Town Library is proud to announce Traveling Tech Help! We are excited to launch another way to meet our patrons where they are and help them navigate a world where technology is ever-changing. We will be visiting Washington Meadows (92 Washington St.) on March 3rd from 2-4pm, and will offer drop-in, personalized assistance with technology, including the following:
- Troubleshooting cell phones, tablets, or laptop computers;
- Setting up and using email;
- Using the Library’s e-resources, like Libby (to read e-books, e-audiobooks, or magazines) or Kanopy (streaming video/movies);
- Connecting with family, friends, or others;
- Getting a library card and accessing a library account;
- Accessing virtual library programs via Zoom;
- Completing daily online tasks;
- Safely using the internet while avoiding scams;
- Using Excel, Word, or other applications.
This help is free and confidential. Registration is not necessary at this time. Simply bring your phone, tablet, or device.
Please note: the Tech Help Librarian is limited to meeting in public spaces only (we cannot visit any private residence). Please note that we offer tech help services at the library's reference desk at any time- all ahead at (978) 887-1528 ext. 2200 to schedule an appointment!
