Founded in 1913 by the Science Teachers’ Bureau, the Boston Children’s Museum is the second oldest children’s museum in the world and one of the few that maintain a collection. Designed for both children and families, the Museum exhibits focus on science, culture, environmental awareness, health & fitness, and the arts, emphasizing hands-on engagement and learning through experience, and employing play as a tool to spark the inherent creativity, curiosity, and imagination of children.

Pass Benefits
This coupon pass allows half-price entry to the Children's Museum for up to 4 people. Passes will be emailed to reserving patrons, without the need to come to the library to pick up the pass! Please contact the library to reserve this pass if you do not have an email address.
The Children's Museum is open Wednesday through Sunday.
All ticketing is done online, with two time slots to reserve: 9:00am-12:00pm, and 1:30-4:30pm. The Children’s Museum is currently operating under full capacity. Upon reserving a library pass, make sure to reserve your timed ticket right away on the Children’s Museum website to ensure availability. Select “Discount Program Admission Tickets” and “Half Price Library Timed Ticket.” You will need to present your ticket and museum pass upon entry.
